Paula has a bachelor’s degree in Child Development and Family Relations from Florida State University and a master’s degree, also from FSU, is in Counseling and Human Systems.
In 1994, she moved to the Florida Healthy Kids Corporation, which at the time was a fledgling program designed to insure uninsured children. “Fledgling” would never describe Healthy Kids now — they have more than 225,000 enrollees, federal funding, and 30+ staff members.
