UNB, DHAKA – The United Nations says there is an “absolute need’ for strong economic governance to boost the delivery of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at national level.
“In any country, there has to be strong governance,” said Dr David Nabarro, UN under-secretary-general and the UN secretary-general’s special adviser on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, while responding to a query of the news agency.
Addressing a videoconference from New York, Dr Nabarro also laid emphasis on strong governance that also pays attention to economic and social interests of people as well as the environment and climate.
