UNITED NATIONS – China will speed up efforts to implement the United Nations 2030Sustainable Development Agenda, said a senior Chinese diplomat here on Wednesday.
Li Baodong, China’s vice foreign minister, made the remarks at a high-level political forum onsustainable development which was held at UN headquarters in New York on July 19-20.
Briefing representatives worldwide on measures taken by China regarding sustainabledevelopment, Li said the 2030 Agenda dovetails China’s efforts to build a well-off society in anall-round way and realize the “Chinese dream” of national rejuvenation.
China will promote economic, political, cultural, social and ecological development in anintegrated manner, said Li.
