Kim Samuel is President of the Samuel Family Foundation, Professor of Practice at McGill University's Institute for Studies in International Development (ISID), and Policy Advisor at the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative (OPHI), where her research and work focus on social isolation and multidimensional poverty. In October 2014, she convened the first global symposium on Overcoming Isolation and Deepening Social Connectedness with an emphasis on tangible policy and program solutions to build connectedness.
