Patricia Espinosa was recently in India to participate in the third Business & Climate Summit, an annual forum on climate action for businesses, investors and policymakers. The Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change spoke with Urmi A Goswami about the role of business and their increased participation in meeting the goals set out in the Paris Agreement.

With hurricanes and floods wreaking havoc across the world, Espinosa spoke about the challenges posed by the Trump Administration in the US to making good on the plan to slow down global climate change, and why she continues to be an optimist on climate action.
